Last week we decided that today is a good day to go to the
Thai embassy in The Hague to request a multiple-entry visa for three months for Tom.
All the papers we need are in order.
At ten past eight we get in the car and drive to The Hague.
According to our navigation system, we should arrive at ten minutes before ten, and we would
have to go to Amersfoort via the A1 and then via Utrecht to The Hague.
We do it differently, we take the A50 to Arnhem, and then the A12 to Utrecht and on to The
Hague.
It is busy, but we can drive on and at a quarter to ten we are in the Laan Coppes van
Cathenburgh in front of the Thai embassy.
It is not busy at the visa department of the Thai embassy, there are only two people before
us.
But while we are waiting, about five people come in.
When it's our turn, everything is checked, and we have to fill in a travel schedule because
of the multiple entries.
We come up with something, Laos and Cambodia.
It is good, we pay € 150 for the visa, and bit for the registered return of the passport.
The application takes two weeks.
We decide to drive to Kijkduin to drink coffee.
The road has been broken open everywhere, but we get there.
We order coffee and a sandwich at a restaurant called Marmaris.
Then we walk along the beach for a while, it is lovely weather.
We drive back home and arrive there at three o'clock.

We tell what we have done and experienced during a trip and we also tell what we think about it; no more and no less.
This is not a travel guide, nor is it advice to visit a place or not.
There are other sites for that.
Our opinion about places where we have eaten, drunk or slept is not intended as a (positive or negative) assessment,
there are other sites for that.
It is our view of the situation at a certain moment and that view is influenced by our mood,
the weather and many other factors.
